Thad "Buddy" Thomas Lambert

            Mr. Thad “Buddy” Thomas Lambert, age 77, of Ellendale Lane, Taylorsville, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at his residence.

            Thad was born June 20, 1942 in Iredell County, the son of the late George Stanley Lambert, Sr. and Artie Fox Lambert.

            He had retired form Kewaunee Scientific Corporation after 29 years as a finisher of furniture. He was a member of White Plains Baptist Church. He loved his church especially his Sunday school class. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and camping. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Including his parents, he was preceded in death by: a son, TJ Lambert; seven sisters and brothers.

Those left to cherish and honor his memory include: his wife of 53 years, Sandra Myers Lambert of the home; four daughters, Kimberly Dawn Towery and husband, Sammy, of Claremont, Debra Lynn Beckham and husband, Jimmy, of Hiddenite, Jennifer Nicole “Nicky” Hefner and husband, Donnie, of Hiddenite, Charlene Barnhardt Smith of Taylorsville; a son, D. Keith Gilleland and special friend, Debbie Payne, both of Taylorsville; a sister, Martha Estes of Harmony; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

The family will conduct a memorial service at 3 p.m., Saturday, November 16, 2019 at White Plains Baptist Church. Rev. Tony Daniels will officiate.

The family will receive friend from 1-2:45 p.m. prior to the service.
