Thamer Yousif Jasim

Mr. Thamer Yousif Jasim, 59, of Wilkesboro, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Woltz Hospice Home. 

Thamer was born on January 18, 1963 in Baghdad, Iraq to Yousif Jasim and Fadheelah Qasim. 

He enjoyed playing classic games, such as chess, dominoes and checkers. 

Thamer is preceded in death by his parents, Yousif  Jasim and Fadheelah Qasim. 

Thamer is survived by his sisters, Sawsen Y. Jasim, Sendos Y Jasim, Iman Y. Jasim, Amal Y. Jasim, all of Wilkesboro; brothers, Salwen Y. Jasim and Chassan Y. Jasim of Iraq; nieces, Fatema Sameer Sholy of Wilkesboro, Faten Sameer Sholy of Iraq; nephews, Seraj Sammer Sholy and Ali Sameer Sholy, both of Wilkesboro.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Mountain Park Cemetery in Wilkesboro.
