Toney Calvin Keller

            Toney Calvin Keller, age 93, of Taylorsville, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at his home.

            Toney was born May 10, 1933, in Caldwell County, the son of the late Samuel Monroe Keller and Ada Louann Hice Keller.

            Most of his working career Toney worked in the furniture industry for Clayton Marcus and Ideal Frame. Before his retirement he worked for the Town of Taylorsville in maintenance. He was a member of Mountain Ridge Baptist Church and liked to fish, go rabbit hunting, and enjoyed camping.

            Including his parents, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Pauline Elizabeth Pennell Keller; his sons, Tommy Keller, Bobby Keller, Bruce Keller; his grandson, Anthony Keller; his sisters, Ruby Woodring, Mae Pennell; his brothers, Paul Keller, Bill Keller, and Arthur Keller

            Those left to cherish and honor Toney’s memories include: his daughters, Elizabeth Jean Keller and fiancé John Bortz, Rosetta McClelland (Billy), Janie Farley, Lisa Thorne (James); his son, Jimmy Calvin Keller (Gail); 22 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; his brother, JC Keller; his sister-in-law, Janie Daniels Keller; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

            The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, May 22, 2026, at Adams Funeral Home.

            A Graveside Service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Mountain Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Allen Fox will officiate.
