Vera Louise (Laramore) Wright

Mrs. Vera Louise Laramore Wright, 71, of Moravian Falls passes away on January 3, 2025 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Wilkes Medical Center. 

Vera was born on April 20, 1953 in Cecil County, Maryland to Charles Thomas Laramore and Ruth Vera Charboneau Walker. 

She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Taylorsville. Vera loved spending time with her grandchildren, and being outside in her garden.  Mazy, Paris and little dog were her companions. 

Vera is preceded in death by her parents; children, Pauline Louise Forrester, Robbie Wright; sister, Robin Beamon; brothers, Tommy and Larry Laramore. 

Vera is survived by her husband of 34 years Ronald “Butch” Wright of the home; daughter, Ruthie Stanley and husband, Christopher Stanley Sr., of Culpeper Virginia; son, Stevie Wright and wife, Sandy of West Virginia; sisters, Priscilla Gates and husband, Charlie of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Lola Bryan of Indianna, 12 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. 

The family will conduct a service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Wilkes Humane Society, P.O. Box 306 North Wilkesboro, NC 25659.
