Wanda Mecimore

            Wanda Mecimore, age 77, of Wilkesboro, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at SECU Hospice in Yadkinville.

            Wanda was born March 14, 1948, in Wilkes County, the daughter of the late Richard Anderson and Cloma Lee Ladd Anderson.

            Wanda had worked in the furniture industry and was of the Baptist faith. She loved her dogs.

            Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Mecimore and four siblings.

            Those left to cherish and honor Wanda’s memories include: her sister, Margie Anderson of North Wilkesboro; two step-daughters and a step-son.
