William "Pete" Felix Glass

William “Pete” Felix Glass, 81, of Wilkesboro passed away on August 20, 2023 at his home. 

William was born on March 10, 1942 in Wilkes County to Ivery Glass and Maggie “Mae” Staley Glass.

He enjoyed outdoors activities such as Bee keeping, mowing, gardening and his old car and truck.   

William is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Noah Lee Glass, Roy Glass, Dean Glass; sisters, Helen Glass, Mary Call and Ethel Nelson. 

William is survived by his wife, Nancy Minton Glass; daughter, Billie Glass Smithey and husband, Anthony of Wilkesboro; sisters, Blanche Johnston Baity and husband, Bob of Wilkesboro, Lois Click of Roaring River, Annie Mae Childress of Roaring River, Linda Holbrook of Jonesville; brothers, Paul Glass of Roaring River, David Glass and wife, Irene of Roaring River; grandchild, Megan Roberts and husband Jeremy of North Wilkesboro; great grandchild, Ivory Roberts of North Wilkesboro and close nephew, Gilbert Glass and wife, Carolyn, of Roaring River.

 A visitation will be held at 1:00-1:45 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023 at the Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes Chapel in Moravian Falls.  The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes Chapel in Moravian Falls.  Burial will follow in the Moravian Falls Community Cemetery.
