Willis "Billy" Watson Jr.

            Willis “Billy” Watson Jr., age 70, of Taylorsville, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

            He was born December 5, 1954 in Iredell County, the son of the late Willis Samuel Watson Sr. and Marie Fortner Watson.

            Billy had worked as a truck driver at M.D.I for 20+ years. He was a very dedicated and hard worker. He enjoyed riding motorcycles in his younger years.

            Those left to honor and cherish his memories include: his daughter, Jessica Blevins (Eric); his son, Will Watson (Amanda); his grandchildren, Elsie Blevins, Samuel Watson, Bryson Watson, Silas Watson; a brother, Mike Watson (Jan); a niece, a nephew, cousins and friends.

            A private service will be held at a later date.
