Wilma Carolyn (Osborne) Morefield

Mrs. Wilma Carolyn Osborne Morefield, 77, of Millers Creek passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Wilkes Medical Center. 

Wilma was born on November 10, 1947 in Johnson County Tennessee to Walter Harrison Osborne and Stella Mae Shumate Osborne. 

She was of the Baptist faith and loved the Lord and her family. Wilma enjoyed gardening both flowers and vegetables. She also loved her dogs, Charlie, Sadie, Delilah and Ginger. 

Wilma is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Morefield Jr.; parents, Walter and Stella Osborne; 1 sister, 5 brothers; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandson 

Wilma is survived by her daughters, Sandra Morefield and Tom, Teresa Morefield and Daniel; sons, Gene Morefield and Diane, Wayne Morefield and Judy, Randy Morefield and Rita; sister, Ruth Potter; brother, Mike Oborne and Kim; 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; special nephew, Carl Osborne. 

 A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday March 2, 2025 at Hollar Family Cemetery.

Rev. Mark Woods will be officiating.
