My thoughts and prayers are with the family today as your celebrate the "home going" of uncle Clay.  I have sweet memories of him as a child and always loved his smile.  He was so kind and quite a handsome guy.

I know he will be missed and pray you will be comforted by all your precious memories of him.

Love & prayers,

Jettie

Dear Grayland, Karen, Debbie and Nicky,

I am so very sorry to learn of Clay's passing. He was kindhearted, witty and determined, someone Michael and I greatly admired. My childhood is etched with many fond memories of your Father and Mother, and I can not help but hear her laugh and see his smile as I imagine a sweet reunion in Heaven. I imagine them complete in the presence of their Savior, with their wonderful son, Timmy and I know all is well. Thank you for sharing them with me. I loved them dearly.
Love and prayers~Wendy

My dearest Grayland, Karen, Debbie, and Nicky,
I am so saddened by the passing of this wonderful man. Your dad was such a part of my
children's lives.  Michael still shares stories with his girls and Wendy's kids about a man
that never complained but taught him how to garden, raise chickens, and bake potatoes in
an open fireplace. Your parents taught me as a young mother the value of family and although money was important it was not what made a memorable childhood.  Loving,
caring, understanding, unselfishness, and your belief in God was so important to Clay and
Chessie.  Thank you for sharing your family with me.  Although you will miss your dad he
no longer needs that wheelchair and he can do all those things he did before he got sick.  I know without a doubt there was a big celebration in heaven when he was reunited with your  mother and brother.  I will pray for you guys that God will give you peace and comfort in
knowing your dear dad is no longer suffering and he rejoices with his Heavenly Father. I love
you all very much and I thank you for allowing me, Wendy, and Michael to be a part of your wonderful family.
